University Professor (m/f/d) for the subject area of Energy Geosciences
Offer DescriptionWe are seeking a candidate of international academic standing with extensive experience in research and teaching in one or more of the following fields:
Undergraduate and graduate lectures in the field of geosciences and the above-mentioned topics are to be held. Experience in the super vision of Bachelor’s and Master’s theses as well as dissertations is expected.Where to apply WebsiteRequirementsResearch Field Geosciences » Geology Education Level PhD or equivalentSkills/QualificationsThe requirements for employment are an Austrian university degree appropriate to the position or an equivalent foreign university degree, a doctorate in geosciences as well as a habilitation or a scientific qualification of equal value (e.g. significant research activity in industry with publication activity). Further prerequisites are pedagogical and didactical skills, executive qualification and command of the English language. Knowledge of written and spoken German is desired.Experience in setting up and leading a working group as well as in acquiring and conducting funded research projects with scientific and industrial cooperation partners is of great importance. In this classification the gross monthly salary for full-time employment is € 6.362,50 (14 x per year).
