Offer DescriptionWe are seeking a candidate of international academic standing with extensive experience in research and teaching in one or more of the following fields:

• Geoscientific aspects of underground storage with special consideration of barrier rocks (CO2, H2, heat, etc.)
• Exploration of energy sources with a special focus on natural hydrogen
• Geothermal systems
• Development and history of sedimentary basins
• Analysis of conventional and unconventional hydrocarbon systems

Undergraduate and graduate lectures in the field of geosciences and the above-mentioned topics are to be held. Further prerequisites are pedagogical and didactical skills, executive qualification and command of the English language. Knowledge of written and spoken German is desired.Experience in setting up and leading a working group as well as in acquiring and conducting funded research projects with scientific and industrial cooperation partners is of great importance. In this classification the gross monthly salary for full-time employment is € 6.362,50 (14 x per year).
