The appointment is in accordance with § 98 of the Austrian Universities Act. A faculty performance review will be conducted after a 5 year period.The new professor in the area of Mechatronics is expected to contribute to further developing the academic degree program(s) in Mechanical Engineering.The successful candidate is expected to head a new institute and represent teaching and research in the academic subject area.
