Test Automation Analyst
Location: London, UK
Duration of the Assignment: 12 MonthsJob Purpose and primary objectives: The role will require close liaison with development team to increase effectiveness of current testing process for the productsKey responsibilities:
· Develop test strategy & plan
· Manage all required test activities such as system test, integration test and user test
· Manage test data, the results of each test cycle to identify flaws
· Run diagnostic and system testing and presenting the information to the relevant stakeholders
· Interact and coordinate with the development and validation team to ensure effective communication takes place
· Identify and eliminate redundant functions and components
· Understand and implement industry standards and protocolsKey Skills/Knowledge: Requirements:
· Degree in computer science or IT
· 3 years+ experience in test analysis
· A proven record of experience working with computer software and coding
· Knowledge of software development
· Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
· Team player
· Good time-management skills
· Above-average planning and organizational skills and attention to detail
· The ability to track and write articulate reports on technical assessments
· Project management skills and the ability to work well in a team
· Efficient planning skills and an ability to adhere to deadlines
· Good time-management skills
· Previous experience working in Oil & Gas industry (nice to have)Skills & technologies
· Experience or exposure working with C# and .Net
· Knowledge in Agile methodologies – Scrum and have experience working in sprint
· Experience with VB.net, C# development environment is desired
· Knowledge of the end-to-end testing activities within a development environment
· Knowledge in building, maintaining, and working with CI/CD pipelines and tools
· Experience in building test plans and test cases for the business requirements
· Experience in AWS & Microsoft Azure
· Experience using Azure Devops
· Great communication skills, able to explain and translate technical term/topic using common language with the wider business
