Your day at NTT DATA
The Test Analyst is a subject matter expert, responsible for assisting with every phase of the development process to ensure that the design and software adhere to company standards.
This role provides support in the development and execution of exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality.
What you’ll be doing
Education:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is often preferred.
Work Experience:
-
5+ years of experience as a Test Analyst or in a similar quality assurance role.

Proven experience in designing test cases, executing test plans, and reporting results.
-
Experience with both manual and automated testing techniques and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, QTP).
Technical Skills:
-
Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, ALM) for tracking defects and managing test cases.

Knowledge of programming or scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, SQL) for test automation and data validation.

Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Experience in API Testing
Soft Skills:
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills demonstrated through past roles.

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies and issues in software.

Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with development teams.
Testing Methodologies:
-
Experience in various testing types, including functional, regression, integration, user acceptance (UAT), and performance testing.

Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies and how testing fits into those frameworks.
Skills Required:

Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, ALM) for tracking defects and managing test cases.
