Working towards a sustainable and profitable future for farming, they pride themselves on providing exceptional quality, well-respected products both in the UK and exporting globally.This is a rare chance to progress into a vital role as a result of succession planning with the long term incumbent moving towards retirement, it provides ample progression opportunity for someone with a strong agronomy background looking to progress over time into a senior leadership role as the key technical contact for the business. In the initial period your role will focus on commercial agronomy combined with some technical responsibilities such as R&D.Overtime, you will start to take on full responsibility for the technical development, helping to shape the direction of the business, as an integral figure in the senior leadership team and with internal and external key stakeholders to ensure the business continue to provide cutting edge products supporting farmers through unparalleled challenges.You will:

• Manage and build a portfolio of farming customers- providing agronomic advice, sales and support on fertilisers and bio stimulants.

• Develop relationships with distributors and independent agronomists, providing advice and support where required.

• Prepare and implement technical development plans, ensuring the product range is at the forefront of technology.

• Technical training, internally and externally to include speaking at events, conferences and exhibitions.

You will need:

• A degree at BSc or above in a relevant qualification.

• FACTS and BASIS.

• Experience of advising and selling relevant products out on farm.

• Exceptional technical understanding of agronomic practices, crop nutrition and crop products.
