Talent Acquisition Lead – GWS Local APAC

CBRE is the biggest property consultancy in the world & the GWS Local business is a technical facilities maintenance business (building services maintenance) which is fast paced, dynamic & entrepreneurial.

The Talent Acquisition Lead is accountable for end-to-end Talent Acquisition related activity across the GWS Local business line. In this role you will act as a strategic Business Partner collaborating closely with the business leadership, hiring managers and functional teams (including the wider CBRE TA community), using market knowledge, data & insights to help proactively identify risks and opportunities. The TA Lead is accountable for ensuring operational excellence including adhering to in region legislation and recruitment best practice and leading & coaching the business aligned TA Team to deliver excellent service to candidates and Hiring Managers.

In this role you will be responsible for the TA strategy across 11 countries acting as the key TA point of contact for the President, Head of People & leadership team. You will be responsible for a team of 18, supporting circa 4.5k hires in 2024 through a combination of in house TA, strategic partnerships, & manager networks etc The business is growing at circa 35%.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for all Talent Acquisition activity within the Business Line, understanding the Business Line’s requirements to deliver plans to hire key talent into critical roles

  • Define, develop & implement TA plan and projects, in line with wider GWS Local and global CBRE strategy, to drive talent engagement to attract and recruit the best talent into CBRE

  • Strategic advisor, working collaboratively with People and Business Leadership teams to align hiring strategy to source talent against business needs and priorities

  • Provide regular TA activity reports & insights to stakeholders including internal / external intelligence

  • Coach & lead TA team members including recruitment, development & performance management

  • Manage strategic, high profile, confidential and business critical roles

  • Ensure recruitment requirements are fulfilled building an effective diverse & sustainable talent community of potential candidates including engaging third parties where required

  • Ensure corporate / legal requirements are met including championing the Talent Principles

  • Foster a proactive approach to Talent Acquisition, developing in-depth knowledge of talent, competitors and external markets

  • Promote CBRE employer brand initiatives to attract diverse talent, actively participating across the TA team ensuring best practice is shared and implemented

  • Input and develop Workforce Plans against current and future hiring demands across areas of responsibility

Person Specification

  • TA experience in relevant regional market

  • Recruitment technology – ATS expertise, varied search and sourcing methods, LinkedIn, building talent communities and market mapping

  • Able to work in a matrix organisation, prioritising, and effectively communicating with key stakeholders to achieve team goals

  • Maintain a big picture view across CBRE Business Lines whilst managing effective day to day delivery

  • Partners and participates actively across the TA team ensuring the sharing and implementation of best practices

  • Inspire confidence and trust as the Talent Acquisition Lead

  • Stakeholder and customers engagement at all levels, both internally and externally

  • High level of networking and relationship management
