Support Technician 3D Jewellery

We’re looking for an inspiring and innovative technician to join our 3D and Jewellery Technical Teams at London College of Fashion (LCF).As a Support Technician: 3D Jewellery, you’ll contribute to the delivery of technical services and resources, working with your colleagues in the 3D and Jewellery and Accessories Technical Teams to support the day-to-day operations of the teaching and learning facilities.This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your teaching skills, as you’ll provide technical assistance and advice to students, helping them to develop new skills and a familiarity with jewellery making practices.In addition to this, you’ll be responsible for basic and routine maintenance procedures within the workshop and will undertake the daily preparation of facilities and resources to ensure that they are supplied and maintained. A familiarity in PUK welding and other 3D production techniques, including the use of associated digital technologies is essential.As an industrious and innovative individual, you’ll be confident in creating and maintaining engaging learning materials for specialist practice and will be capable of answering queries and solving problems in accordance with procedures and precedent.A knowledge and understanding of relevant Health and Safety legislation is also essential, including the ability to implement appropriate H&S practices into your work and practice.Application processIf you have not applied or signed up for job alerts with us before, you will need to create an account.
