We have more than 145,000 dedicated Asda colleagues ensuring that our customers are at the heart of everything we do.“Find your role”As the Manager of the Solutions Design Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of new technology solutions for our parcel service. You will lead a team and collaborate with ASDA Technology, senior stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to drive innovation, optimize system capabilities, and enhance delivery services. Your role will ensure best-in-class technology solutions while maintaining quality standards and operational support post-implementation.· Team Leadership & Management:o Lead and mentor the Solutions Design Team, ensuring high performance and professional development.o Define team objectives, set clear goals, and monitor progress to align with business priorities.o Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technical excellence.· Solution Design & Delivery:o Oversee the design and development of new system capabilities, ensuring alignment with business objectives.o Drive the innovation roadmap by identifying new opportunities and emerging technologies.o Ensure successful implementation of technology solutions, including warehouse management systems, transport platforms, in-store systems, and e-commerce solutions.o Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, utilizing both agile and waterfall methodologies.· Stakeholder Engagement & Business Alignment:o Collaborate with senior business stakeholders to prioritize workloads and support business case development.o Facilitate interactive workshops to gather requirements, refine system designs, and identify improvement opportunities.Everything you’ll loveTo ensure we balance moments where we know we need to collaborate together and the need for flexibility, Asda has a hybrid way of working with a minimum 3 days a week in one of our Home Offices.
