This role in a nutshell:Across OVO we have Software Engineers all with varying backgrounds and levels of experience. One key thing that all of our engineers have in common is a desire to develop brilliant, industry redefining products as well as their own skills.Working as part of a team of 4-5 Engineers with a Product Manager, Product Designer and Engineering Manager, you’ll build systems using the latest cloud services, architectures and best practices providing performance, resilience and scalability. You’ll contribute to your team’s Ways of Working, and have time for your own personal development.You’re the right person for us if you:

You’ll be a successful Software Engineer here at OVO if you…

• Fullstack Experience with TypeScript and/or Node.js
• Experience with cloud based platforms and technologies, such as GCP or AWS
• Experience in microservice architecture design
• An eye for designing solutions that are resilient and scalable
• Attention to detail and focus on security
• Passion for technical excellence
• Familiarity with Test Driven development is beneficial
• Driven, self-starter and a great communicator
