Their mantra is “always part of your solution, never part of your problem,” and we are looking for a dedicated Site Supervisor to join their team and uphold these values.As a Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites, depending on the size of the project this could be one large project or several smaller sites. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will oversee day-to-day activities, manage staff, and ensure that all work meets stringent quality and safety standards.Typical duties include:

• Oversee daily operations on-site, ensuring efficiency and safety.
• Ensure construction staff adhere to the highest health and safety requirements.
• Provide leadership and direction to staff, setting schedules and monitoring performance.
• Inspect work to ensure quality and adherence to project specifications.
• Liaise with the head office to schedule orders of materials and equipment.
• Communicate project progress to senior management and clients.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and standards, including quality control.
• Induct new site staff and coordinate necessary training with the head office.

Applications are welcomed from candidates with the following skills and experience:

• Previous experience within a similar role within the construction sector.
• Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS, CSCS Card, SSSTS would be advantageous
• Effective communicator with the ability to give clear and precise instructions.
• Compliance with instructions from the Operations Team and evidence of best practices.
• IT literate.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected challenges.
• Adaptable and willing to embrace change when required.
