Are you looking for a new challenge in 2024?We are looking for a Shop Manager to lead our team in the Calverton shop. You will be working in a creative environment, working with donated goods to maximise sales and net contribution. Retail experience will be an advantage, as will on-line sales experience.You will make a real difference to young people in England by helping to raise the vital funds needed to support our frontline work. You will need to be driven and focused on making money, and have good communication skills both inside and outside the shop, reaching out to the local community to help build support for the shop.As a Shop Manager you will manage an Assistant Shop Manager along with a team of diverse Volunteers, you will need great people skills and be confident at working with people from different backgrounds creating a welcoming and positive experience for all of our staff, volunteers and supporters.If you have what it takes to work hard but have some fun along the way then this is the place for you.Every day we’re changing the lives of children in this country for the better – and with your help, tomorrow we can be there for even more.We look forward to receiving your application.The Children’s Society is committed to safeguarding and protecting the children and young people that we work with.
