You’ll have the chance to grow your career while inspiring others to deliver the highest standards of patient care.As a Senior Theatre Practitioner at our St Bartholomews Hospital, you’re registered with the appropriate governing body and you hold the relevant qualifications and experience, including NMC or HCPC. As well as post-registration experience, you have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a theatre setting you bring knowledge of mentoring and have strong clinical experience. Trained in ILSAs a Senior Theatre Practitioner, you will:Lead by example and be an ambassador for the Nuffield Health way of caringRecognise talent and nurture junior colleagues, mentoring them to be the best they can be·Use your excellent clinical skills and empathetic approach to meet each patient’s needsEnjoy autonomy to make decisions that ensure excellent patient careProvide day-to-day supervision, including clinical supervision of junior nursing staff and studentsContribute to scheduling and rotas, recruitment, induction, performance reviews and trainingAccountable for motivating and educating your peers within the multidisciplinary team,Be willing to work flexibly across different shift patterns covering a six-day service and participation in the departmental on-call rota if required.Helping you feel good.We want you to love coming to work, feeling healthy, happy and valued. This is our flagship center for cardiac services and will also provide a full range of surgical and medical services, including: orthopaedics, oncology, general surgery, genecology and urology services. Our hospital consists of 55 beds, including 7 Specialist intensive care beds, four of the most advanced digital operating theatres and Endoscopy and minor ops theatre. With 28 consultation rooms.
