Job description
We are working with a medium sized freight forwarder, who are looking to recruit a Senior Sea freight Export Coordinator.
Our client is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sea Freight Coordinator.
Roles involves:
· Coordinate and manage all aspects of FCL and LCL export shipments, from booking to delivery.
· Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders and other service providers to ensure timely and cost – effective transport solutions.
· Monitor shipment movement and ensure accurate documentation for customs clearance and international compliance.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and trust.
· Provide advise on shipping options, routes and regulations to support client needs.
· Ensure all shipping documents, including Bills of Lading, commercial Invoices and packing lists are prepared and in compliance with UK and International regulations.
· Collaborate with internal departments, including product, sales, finance, and compliance to ensure seamless operations and alignments with business goals.
Experience
· experience in sea export operations required, specifically handling FCL and LCL shipments.
· Proven track record in key account operational activity within freight forwarding and shipping.
· Confidence and ability to manage difficult customer situations effectively.
· Proficiency in MS Office.
· Knowledge of Cargo Wise, including workflow and PAVE advantage.
· Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
Monday to Friday
Salary depends on experience.
