You are subscribed to receive alerts for jobs similar to this one.TRS Staffing currently have a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Procurement Senior Buyer to join a leading Major Tier 1 contractor to assist with various packages across rail projects on a permanent basis.This position will offer a competitive salary package with hybrid working opportunities based in London.Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire procurement process, from tendering to contract award, ensuring adherence to governance, compliance, and project objectives.
- Work closely with technical, commercial, and legal teams on contract negotiations, supplier evaluations, and performance management.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for complex, high-value project packages.
- Maintain a strategic approach to supply chain planning and logistics, ensuring high performance standards.
- Research and evaluate areas of opportunity and reduce costs where possible
What you will need:
- Demonstrable expertise in procurement of civil engineering materials across high value projects
- You have a good knowledge and experience of the supply chain both material and subcontract.
- Highly skilled at building and maintaining effective and productive relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers
- A relevant qualification such as NVQ Level 4 or higher would be desirable
