Our careers are as unique as you are.We are looking for a Senior Non Functional Tester on a 12 month fixed term basis to be responsible for creating test plans and packs from information gathered from stakeholders, application code, monitoring metrics, policy, standards, traffic capturing, code analysis and any in-scope compliance requirement. You will be working on multiple streams, and we expect you to balance your day-to-day tasks.At Evri we carry out several types of performance testing: performance, stress, scalability, recovery, and portability testing. As a member of our team, you are expected to be an industry expert in these areas and support the development of relevant policies and standards aligned with industry best practices. You will join early in a systems lifecycle to determine its performance testing needs and ensure everything required is in place. For each test, you will monitor resources, investigate discrepancies, and provide solutions to stakeholders highlighting issues and remediation work where needed. In collaboration with our development and service teams, provide feedback and guidance on scaling rules, instance sizing, and the best course of action in cases where performance degradation is identified.Evri is leading the way in creating responsible delivery experiences for everyone, everywhere, and that’s how we approach our talent development. If you like what you hear, then we’d love you to apply!You will be accountable for:Your main responsibility is to validate application features in production-like environments to ensure product stability from inception to release.

• Join early in the project and product lifecycle to take complete ownership of assigned performance tasks and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure comprehensive testing.
• Review product designs and usage patterns to validate or source non-functional requirements.
• Provide concise and reusable test packs for consistent feedback to test and dev teams.
• When problems arise, conduct a root cause analysis in collaboration with relevant stakeholders and clearly present your findings.
• When it comes to managing data, you will be responsible for either finding or generating the necessary test data.
• Regular reporting to key stakeholders (Defects Found, Work Estimations, and Test Results.)
• Mentoring of colleges across Development and Test teams so we can all learn together.
• Follow the test strategy, and implement its solutions across our estate.

To be successful in this role you will require the following…

• Diverse experience of using of Evri technologies, JAVA, AWS, Oracle, AppDynamics.
• Comprehensive experience of using our testing tools, JMeter, Tarus, Python, GIT and Bash.
• Willingness to learn and present new things, we are a rapidly growing team with ambitions to move into other areas of testing and we welcome a change first attitude.
• Strong experience of working in a cloud first environment with autoscaling policies.
• Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment.
• Prior experience of working with dynamic data.
• Prior Experience with ticketing systems such as JIRA and ServiceNow.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and reporting skills.
• Baseline understanding and appreciation for security and privacy by design and default.
• Significant knowledge of other performance tools and techniques.
• A Computer Science Degree or equivalent would be advantageous.
• Prior Functional Testing experience would be advantageous.
• Prior Automation experience would be advantageous.
