Job Description
Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager to lead our OEM Sales team in Singapore. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on our mission of making the world healthier by driving growth and supplying Life Science Solutions to diagnostic, life science tool, and therapeutic customers. You will be responsible for leading a team of business development professionals and commercial leaders, developing go-to-market strategies, negotiating multi-million dollar contracts, and ensuring the long-term growth and profitability of our commercial supply and OEM business.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of business development professionals and enable them to exceed their revenue goals in the commercial supply and OEM space.
Develop and implement go-to-market strategies that align with our business unit partners.
Create strategic plans for key customers and market segments to ensure long-term growth and profitability.
Accelerate revenue in the diagnostic, life science, and associated markets through strategic negotiation and relationship building.
Implement effective practices and processes across the organization to enhance sales optimization.
Facilitate complex deals and projects between customers and internal support organizations.
Align revenue targets and goals with the objectives of the organization.
Cultivate internal alignment across the broader commercial organizations to drive OEM and nucleic acid therapeutics (NATx) business growth.
Continually improve sales processes, people, and coverage within the business.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in any life science field required; advanced degree and/or MBA preferred.
Minimum of 7+ years of relevant commercial experience and 3+ years of experience leading high-functioning commercial teams.
Proven capability to develop sales strategy and drive top-line growth.
Experience leading commercial organizations with complex business models.
Strong ability to navigate and lead within a highly matrixed environment.
Understanding of commercial use applications in diagnostics, therapeutics, and life science tools.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Proven experience in talent recruitment, development, and retention.
Track record of meeting and exceeding performance goals.
Ability to think critically and articulate a vision.
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
