Senior Highway EngineerCarrington West are seeking an experienced Senior Highway Engineer to take the lead on coordinating and delivering highway projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team, working on a range of exciting projects.Key Responsibilities:·Leading the coordination and delivery of design outputs to meet highway project outcomes.
·Carrying out technical design checks to ensure quality standards are met.
·Managing projects to ensure delivery within time, cost, and quality parameters.
·Ensuring compliance with internal quality processes and industry standards.
·Managing Health & Safety and Environmental legislation adherence throughout project lifecycles.
·Working closely with clients to develop and deliver project objectives.Skills & Experience Required:·Significant experience in highway design and construction, including reviewing outputs from design software.
·Strong commercial awareness and experience in project delivery.
·Familiarity with Local Authority design standards and contract management.
·Demonstrable experience in mentoring and developing junior staff.
·Proven experience managing Health & Safety in design and construction environments.
·Computer literate, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word.
·Experience with the NEC suite of contracts and associated contract administration.
