A bit about the role:We are looking for an experienced Senior E-commerce Manager to join our marketing team and drive our global e-commerce operations. Based in our London headquarters, the ideal candidate will be responsible for driving online sales, enhancing the user experience, and site optimisation for travelHX.com.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and be accountable for the ecommerce strategy in order to improve website performance and drive commercial success
  • Lead and manage the merchandising strategy across travelHX.com in line with key markets ‘strategic objectives to drive revenue
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of website traffic and user behaviour to identify opportunities for conversion rate optimization
  • Responsible for analysing website traffic and user behaviour, conducting A/B and multivariate tests, and implementing changes to boost conversion rates and revenue across our digital platforms
  • Develop and manage a testing roadmap to ensure continuous improvements.
  • Work in partnership with the Performance Lead to drive ecommerce via Performance Media and work with the SEO Lead to build a one search approach to build site visibility, traffic and conversion
  • Work with the wider marketing team in order to improve quality and traffic acquisition
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and cross functional teams to enhance the ecommerce experience and driving commercial growth
  • Research market in order to discover new trends and technologies in order to improve website performance
  • Utilize web analytics and other tools to gain insights into customer behaviour and e-commerce performance
  • Produce regular reports on sales, traffic, conversion rates, and other key metrics – and utilize data to make informed decisions and strategic recommendations.

About you:Education and experience required:

  • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in e-commerce management
  • Bachelors’ degree in Digital Marketing or related field
  • GA4 Certified desirable but must have strong analytics & data capabilities
  • Proven track record in developing and overseeing eCommerce-focused digital marketing strategies
  • Proven track record of driving online sales growth and achieving revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of UX, web design, customer flow and web analysis
  • Ability to analyse data to identify key patterns/trends and apply insightful commentary via an insight to actions approach
  • Ability to manage short terms priorities and longer-term deliverables, able to prioritise strategically and tactically
  • Confidence in traffic analysis, reporting tools and optimisation
  • Experience working with a CRO agency

NICE TO HAVES:

  • Experience in travel or retail industries
  • Broad experience of attribution modelling, website speed optimisation, A/B testing, conversion management, sales journey optimisation.
  • Strong MarTech background, with experience managing marketing and tech teams
  • Knowledge of implementing digital marketing concepts such as PPC, SEO, social media, display and affiliate channels.
