Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor – Aviation
Location: London Airports
Salary: £60,000 – £75,000An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to join a specialist aviation team, delivering major terminal refurbishments, airside developments, and infrastructure projects at London’s largest airports. This role offers the chance to work on high-profile projects, managing costs from inception to completion.The RoleThis position involves full cost management services across major aviation projects, ensuring successful delivery within budget and on schedule. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing project costs from feasibility through to final account.
• Contract administration and procurement strategy development.
• Budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Advising clients on risk management, value engineering, and commercial strategy.
• Liaising with stakeholders, design teams, and contractors to ensure cost-effective project delivery.

About YouThe ideal candidate will have:

• Experience as a Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor, ideally within aviation, infrastructure, or complex built environments.
• Strong knowledge of cost planning, contract administration, and procurement.
• Familiarity with major contracts such as NEC or JCT.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• A relevant degree and professional accreditation such as RICS or equivalent.
