✅ Drive technical excellence, share your expertise, and shape best practices across the commissioning team
✅ Mentor and support apprentices and assistant engineers to develop the next generation of talent
✅ Collaborate with designers, engineers, and operations teams to influence solutions from the start
✅ Lead and manage on-site commissioning activities on major infrastructure projects
✅ Deliver detailed commissioning plans, risk assessments, and impact assessments
✅ Ensure a zero-customer-impact approach to commissioning
✅ Engage in factory testing, site acceptance testing, and performance optimisation
✅ Apply your knowledge of PLCs, MCCs, process control systems, and water/wastewater treatment
✅ Work with a wide range of internal teams and industry-leading external partners
✅ Log and share lessons learned to continuously improve delivery and performance
✅ Make a real difference to projects ranging from £1M to £75M in value
✅ Use your experience to deliver on time, to budget, and safely✅ Qualifications we’re looking for:HNC (BTEC Level 4) in Electrical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering ✅Proven commissioning experience in wastewater✅Site expertise with control systems, process optimisation, and operations ✅Experience supervising engineers or contractors ✅Degree and professional membership – a bonus! ✅✅ Essential skills:Strong communicator and collaborator ✅Able to juggle priorities across multiple complex projects ✅Full UK driving license ✅IT literate and solutions-focused ✅🌱 Make a sustainable difference in how water is delivered, today and for the futureWe develop intelligent solutions using our award-winning integrated planning and design approach to deliver functional infrastructure and lasting environmental and social legacies.
