An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated, and highly skilled individual to join the Corporate Reporting Team as a Senior Accounts Assistant. The Corporate Reporting Team have a unique and interesting role in the management and reporting of the overall Health Board’s financial position and work closely with all teams across the Finance function.Main duties of the jobAs the Senior Accounts Assistant, you will be a central point of contact for the Corporate Reporting team and key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating the posting of budget journals into the ledger.
- Regular reconciliation of working schedules against ledger.
- Involvement in the month-end position closedown tasks.
- Assist in producing key monthly reporting outputs.
- Analytical review and management of large datasets.
- Coordinating Freedom of Information requests across Finance
Key skills relating to the role include:
- Extensive experience of working with Microsoft Excel.
- Exposure to Financial Systems.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
