SEN Learning Support Assistant – PrimaryLocation: Burgess Hill, West SussexPay: £83.40-£98.23 per dayHours: 08:30 – 15:30Contract Type: Full-time, contractSupply Desk are a nationwide education recruitment company specialising in Primary and SEND education. We place our teaching staff in day-to-day and long-term placements in an extensive number of Primary and Secondary schools across Sussex.Supply Desk is seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN LSA to join one of the fantastic schools we service in Burgess Hill. This role offers flexibility, with opportunities to make a real difference in the lives of young learners with diverse needs.Key Responsibilities:

• ‍ Provide 1:1 or small group support for children with SEN, adapting to their unique learning needs.
• Create a positive, inclusive environment that promotes the well-being and development of every student.
• Manage challenging behaviour, using appropriate de-escalation techniques.
• Adapt to different school environments and work collaboratively with staff.

Requirements:

• ✔️ Experience working with children with SEN (including Autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties) is highly desirable.
• A genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of children with SEN.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• ️ Current DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
