In this role, you will report to the R&D Manager Photonic.Your responsibilities

• Independent execution of project development tasks
• Careful analysis and documentation of the development steps
• Contributing innovative solutions in product development
• Technical supervision executions of patent and literature screenings
• Ensure all work is conducted safely & in compliance with laws, regulations at MSD standards (e.g. Corporate Compliance etc.)
• Strong interaction with Project Manager and R&D Manager
• Driving product development projects to a successful conclusion
• Resolving troubleshooting cases within the project
• Experimental set up and cooperation with internal and external partners
• Supporting the Photonic R&D Team

Ihr Profil

• Degree Physics or Engineering with a PhD
• Experience in the field of ultrafast lasers and ultrafast laser measurement methods
• Basic knowledge of linear, non-linear optics and the physics of ultrashort laser pulses
• Laboratory experience in building ultra-short pulse lasers
• You have excellent written and spoken English skills, German is a plus
• Creative and proactive way of working with high quality standards and a simultaneous focus on results
• Interdisciplinary thinking and enjoyment of innovative solutions
• You are a personality with strong analytical skills
• Willingness to learn and openness to change

The gross monthly salary for this position, in accordance with the collective agreement for the chemical industry, ranges between €50,000 or €60,000 and €75,000 gross (full-time), depending on qualifications and experience.Wir bietenGlobally, our policy is to recruit individuals from wide and diverse backgrounds.
