If so, this Science Technician role could be the perfect opportunity for you!We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Technician to join our vibrant secondary school in Harrow on a full-time basis. This role offers a chance to play a key part in the delivery of high-quality science education for our students.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparing and setting up equipment, chemicals, and materials for practical science lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.Ensuring the safe storage, handling, and disposal of chemicals and equipment in line with health and safety regulations.Assisting teaching staff during practical sessions and demonstrations when required.Maintaining and cleaning laboratory equipment and ensuring the laboratories are well-organised and fully stocked.Conducting regular safety checks and ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards.RequirementsA strong interest in science and an understanding of lab procedures (previous experience in a lab or technician role is a plus).Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.A proactive and supportive attitude to working with teaching staff and students.Basic IT skills and a willingness to learn new systems if needed.Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a laboratory setting.BenefitsCPD – Tradewind Recruitment are excited to announce that we are now partnered with the National College, meaning that you have access to exceptional learning opportunities at your leisure.
