Science Teacher – HastingsAutumn 2024Pay – £115 – £250Location – Hastings, East SussexContract – Full time, part-time availableAbout the School:Supply Desk are working with a rapidly improving secondary school in Hastings, that has high standards and expectations of students’ attitude to learning. They are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Science Teacher to deliver Biology, Chemistry and Physics lessons for primarily Key Stages 3 and 4 as a part of their successful department. This role is long-term and full-time, with a view for the right candidate to turn permanent.About the role:The role is a full-time opportunity, providing lessons across the sciences for primarily Key Stage 3 and 4. You will be teaching all elements of Science in accordance with the National Curriculum, helping the school to continue on its upward trajectory in GCSE attainment. In this role, time is also allowed for planning and marking. The school are looking for someone with excellent and up-to-date subject knowledge, high standards in the classroom, and a positive approach to teaching and the school community.The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject field. A recognised teaching qualification is a plus.
• Have recent experience teaching in UK Schools
• Be a committed team player
• Proven track record of high attainment
• Be comfortable in adapting to different environments
• Have strong classroom management skills
• Be able to deliver science in a fun and engaging way that students can relate to
