As the firm continues to grow, there is an opportunity for a talented Residential Property Solicitor or Qualified Conveyancer to join the dynamic and supportive conveyancing team. The Role: A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Residential Property Solicitor (2+ years PQE) or CILEX to join a busy and reputable conveyancing team based in Street. The role involves managing a diverse range of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, mortgages, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, lease extensions, new build properties, Help to Buy schemes, and residential lettings for landlords and tenants. The role offers exposure to high-quality work and will provide opportunities for further career development and business development initiatives. Key Responsibilities:Manage a varied caseload of residential property matters, including both freehold and leasehold transactions.Advise clients on transactions such as sales, purchases, mortgages, re-mortgages, Help to Buy, lease extensions, and new build properties.Ensure client matters are managed effectively and in accordance with the firm’s high standards of service.Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and client files.Conduct legal research and provide accurate advice on residential property matters.Collaborate with colleagues to support the department’s workflow and work on larger client projects.Build and nurture strong client relationships, reflecting the firm’s commitment to exceptional client care.The Ideal Candidate:Residential Property Solicitor (2+ years PQE) or CILEX with a solid background in residential conveyancing.Strong communication skills with a client-focused approach.Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage a varied caseload.A proactive team player who thrives in a collaborative and supportive environment.Adaptable to changing demands, with the ability to manage workload flexibly.What’s On Offer:Competitive salary based on experience, along with an attractive benefits package.A supportive, collegiate working environment that promotes professional development.Clear career progression opportunities, including the potential for business development and leadership roles.An opportunity to work with a firm that values work-life balance and prioritizes client service.Location:Street, Somerset (with opportunities to work across other Somerset offices in Wells and Somerton).
