Job Description:We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and adaptable Coordinator to support the Regulatory Affairs and Policy team. The role will be responsible for scheduling the various meetings and calls between Starling executives and board members with its UK regulators, as well as assisting with key functions such as the tracking of regulatory engagement actions, and record-keeping of regulatory correspondence.Closing date for this role is Thursday 30th January, 5pm.This role is hybrid working with the expectation of 10 days in the office a month.Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Manage the comprehensive calendar of regulatory engagements – including liaising between regulators and executives / Board members to schedule in person meetings or virtual calls, including booking rooms where necessary.
- Support scheduling internal Regulatory Affairs calls, including prep calls and workshops as appropriate ahead of regulatory engagements.
- Own the regulatory engagement calendar – a golden source document, kept up to date in near real time, recording all past meetings and which are upcoming.
- Support the preparation where required of professional communications to the regulator, with exceptional attention to detail and presentation.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
- Support the accurate tracking of all regulatory engagement items, and related internal coordination.
- Support the production of regular internal Management Information on Regulatory Affairs matters.
- Work with colleagues to ensure accurate records are maintained of regulatory correspondence, including smart organisation of the records.
- Support with organisation and team collaboration across the Regulatory Affairs team.
Requirements:
- Project management experience is highly desirable, along with a genuine interest in financial services regulation
- Excellent administration skills, attention to detail and organisation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Ability to plan and prioritise in a changing, busy environment
- Passionate about doing the right thing
- Proactive, self motivated and able to manage workload with minimal supervision
