We are now looking for a Regional Account Manager to join our team and help us to continue to do things the right way for customers, colleagues and the planet.With over 1,000 colleagues in multiple sites nationwide delivering excellent performance, we supply premium cooking oils, and collect organic waste, which is then converted into bio-methane, electricity, heat and organic fertiliser. A little bit more about the role:Responsible for maintaining relationships and developing new business opportunities with allocated customers. Developing and implementing the account strategies and tactics for the customer base ensuring the business is most effective in achieving business maintenance and growth targets across the allocated Olleco product and service offering. Ensuring the achievement of sales revenue and the implementation and delivery of the sales strategy.
- ACCOUNT RETENTION – Lead and implement Account Strategy Plans for designated Account portfolio ensuring that they are relevant up to date and reviewed regularly. Including negotiating and agreeing prising and terms and conditions accordingly, whilst monitoring At Risk and Account Churn data
- PERFORMANCE – Achieve agreed sales targets ensuring EBIT and turnover targets met for allocated accounts.
- ACCOUNT ACTIVITIES – Undertake regular account reviews to identify opportunities and risks. Manage tenders, issue resolution and contract renewals as appropriate.
- GROWTH – Develop our business relationship with allocated customers to enable us to increase and maximise revenue in line with annualised growth plans.
- CROSS SELLING – Responsible for identifying and maximising cross selling opportunities to enable us to maximise revenue opportunities through selling our full value proposition and service offering. Also responsible for identifying potential new revenue streams and sharing these with the Head of Sales for investigation.
- CUSTOMER SATISFACTION – Deliver excellent service to allocated clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction whilst delivering value to Olleco. Work closely with customer service and support and insight teams.
- COMPETITION – Responsible for undertaking research and activities to monitor the competitive landscape and ensure that the business maintains and develops its competitive position.
- DOCUMENTATION – Personally produce high quality and complex documentation and presentations for customers and tenders which are effectively targeted to the audience.
- SYSTEMS – Keep the sales management system up to date at all times to ensure a details record of interactions and outcomes are available.
- CONTRACTS – Responsible for ensuring negotiations consider the requirements for securing value for Olleco from new customers. Work with the Head of Sales and SME team colleagues to ensure that they are appropriate for the terms agreed with the customer and safeguard Olleco’s interests.
- CLOSING – Responsible for leading contract renewals with allocated customers from open through to completion.
- BUDGETS – Prepare and review budget information. Ensure that the pipeline records are is up to date on Salesforce to ensure accurate budget reports.
- INNOVATION – Identify opportunities to innovate around the service offering and delivery or commercial arrangements to retain clients, grow the revenue and ensure the Company remains ahead of its competitors.
- SALES SKILLS – Maintain awareness of developments in sales and customer service techniques and technology to ensure that the company maintains and develops its competitive position.
- REPORTING – Provide activity reports to the Head of Sales. Produce and provide other reports and information as required by the business.

We will coach, train and support you, it’s more important that you have the right interpersonal skills and the intelligence to grasp our business and take us forward.We will be looking for:-
- GCSE Maths & English (B or 5 minimum) or equivalent
- A, B, B Minimum at A’ level or equivalent
- Educated to Degree Level (2:1 minimum) or equivalent required
- Formal training or qualification in sales or purchasing desirable
- Full clean driving licence
PROVEN ABILITY
- Track record of delivering high performance in an account management focused sales, purchasing or buying role required.
- Proven and extensive success with developing accounts/suppliers to increase value for the company.
- Demonstrable experience of putting together high-quality documentation.
- Strong external-facing experience. Skilled at presenting a company in a professional and knowledgeable manner
- Demonstrable experience of successfully delivering all activities on time and in full.
- Strong negotiating skills and experience
- Proven ability to resolve complex commercial challenges & customer demands
- Financial and commercial awareness
- Demonstratable experience of working in a Sales focused role within the Hospitality sector
- Strong IT skills (able to use office software to a high standard)
- Experience with Sales Force or a prospect management system desirable.
- Project management skills in the context of managing role demands and the demands of an account portfolio effectively and efficiently
