Optime Group are proudly working in partnership with a well-known Luton Airport ground handling business to recruit a team of Ramp Marshallers / Passenger Service Agents.All necessary training will be fully paid and provided by sector experts including support in obtaining relevant background checks. - Rate of pay: £12.40 per hour (Day Shifts), £12.84 per hour (Night Shifts)
- Shift Pattern: 4 days per week (You must be flexible across all 7 days to work)
- Shift times available:
- 0500-1700 x1 roles available or
- 1700-0500 x2 roles available or
- Hours: 12-hour shifts
- Temp to Perm (performance based)

Key Duties:
- Responsible for marshalling the Ambi-lift vehicle on the ramp in line with Wilson James and London Luton Airport airside driving and safety protocols.
- Ensure the vehicle is guided safely and accurately to and from the aircraft, maintaining clear communication with the driver at all times.
- Conduct marshalling duties professionally, following all relevant rules, signals, and guidance provided during training.
- Remain vigilant and situationally aware while operating in a live airside environment, prioritising safety and operational efficiency.
- Deliver or collect the special assistance passengers at the aircraft door and assist with the transfer into their seat or wheelchair through safe manual handling techniques. Being professional, polite and courteous at all times.
- Carry out Passenger Service Agent duties as directed by allocations. Escorting arriving and departing special assistance passengers (along with accompanying family as necessary) through the airport either on foot, by wheelchair.
- Providing assistance with baggage.
- Ensuring that wheelchairs are clean and tidy at all times, slings and aisle chairs are cleaned, tidy and maintained as per health and safety policy.
- Using aisle chairs and slings when necessary and maintaining health and safety protocols.
- Ensure that allocations is updated on progress by use of IT handsets.
- Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed legibly and submitted in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving license is essential.
- Previous Airline &/or Airport experience is desired although not essential as full training will be provided.
- You must be able to understand English language to adhere to company notices, staff briefings and individual instructions provided to you, which will affect your working duties.
- Must be able to lift passengers in accordance with manual handling guidelines
- The ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Previous airport experience is an advantage but not essential.

- Successful candidates will be required to complete a basic DBS record check following interview in line with CAA requirements.
