Our ED business delivers client-focused technological solutions to the most complex engineering challenges. Our breadth of capability, coupled with our facilities, enables us to bring the latest thinking and technology to market. We act as the integrator for these technologies; optimising solutions and ensuring that they can be deployed in challenging environments, while our core capabilities focus on experimental rig design and build, testing, robotics and remote operations.ED sits within the Technology, Consulting, and Innovation (TC&I) part of the business, which is responsible for the largest independent nuclear laboratories in the UK, delivering projects from consultancy, assurance and regulation, through to test rigs and prototypes.Reporting to the ED performance unit Quality Manager, as a QA/QC Engineer, you will ensure that all products and processes meet the highest quality standards. This role is crucial for maintaining compliance, improving quality, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the organisation.You will validate and verify all workshop quality assurance and control activities, including welding inspections, material control, and project documentation for production throughout the facility. Your role will involve close collaboration with production and workshop teams to ensure that all quality requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.This role offers a pathway to senior QA/QC positions, focusing on strategic quality management and leadership within complex engineering projects.You will be responsible for:Quality Planning & Assurance
