About the role:We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Support Technical Coordinator to join our team. our clean water team based out of our Deptford WTWAs the successful candidate you will be responsible for ensuring that the upfront Design, Co-ordination, Scheduling of work is in place to make sure that technicians have prerequisites in place in advance, allowing them to start the projects as scheduledWhat you will be doing as the Project Support Technical Coordinator

  • Maintain the required standards to make sure our statutory obligations are met, and that availability and associated performance are maintained
  • Be responsible for planning work via sales force, Z-One, Sharepoint and making sure that all projects have relevant skill sets are scheduled in and coordinated
  • Proactively seek to understand asset care plans and asset criticality
  • Provide specialist technical advice where appropriate with up-to-date technical knowledge
  • Provide support for all Asset maintenance projects and assist colleagues
  • Support network activities during large asset failure/events
  • Focus on maintaining a high level of productivity, therefore reducing the need to return to base or make unnecessary repeat visits
  • Record accurate, clear, and factual comments in real time on each job to allow effective handover, clear auditing of work
  • Always be the company’s representative and behave in a professional way
  • Communicating with all stakeholders involved in the capital programme in a professional manner
  • Reduce customer impact because of loss of supply, drive technical solution activity forward, support or act as technical lead depending on complexity of job
  • Ensure Co-ordinance and Deliverance of Asset Maintenance programmes, PRV, DM, Mains Rehab schemes
  • Creating shut packs and writing permits (PTW’s), Complete correct recharges and create various Valve and asset check reports

We are looking for you to

  • Be fully competent at using appropriate company IT Systems and office-based software preferable, Salesforce, Meterman, Z-One, PI, SCADA, Sample Manager, MS Teams
  • Have good analytical skills
  • Have the ability to work with minimum supervision, under their own initiative to deliver specified Work streams
  • Have professional customer experience within a constantly changing environment is essential. We are looking for someone that has experience of working within operational network role with strong working knowledge of water industry procedures; this will include safety, health, and wellbeing.
  • Have a vast knowledge on the water mains network, as well as Water Network Standards to understand and demonstrate best practice and have relevant water network qualifications in operating water networks
  • Have experience in project coordination and departmental liaison who has experience working on large scale water network projects
  • This role will require you to work autonomously as well as within a team. The role may require driving to multiple sites; therefore, you must be a confident driver and preferably hold a clean, full UK driving licence
