Join us at Checkatrade!We are looking for an experienced Principal Product Manager to drive the vision and development of Checkatrade’s new Bookings & Payments platform, supporting our goal of building a comprehensive end-to-end marketplace. You will be the subject matter expert (SME) for all booking and payment-related activities, including facilitating the online hiring of tradespeople by homeowners, checkout processes, booking management, refunds, and fraud prevention. This is an exciting opportunity to revolutionise a product that is loved by millions of consumers. You’ll become a bookings, check out, refunds and fraud SME sharing your deep technical understanding of payment products alongside your customer experience. • You’ll be an experienced Principal / Lead Product Manager with a background in developing booking and payment platforms and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
• You’ll have an in-depth knowledge of the payments industry, including emerging trends and technologies (payment networks and banking rails). Your background will be B2C or SMB.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues from various disciplines including wider product, engineering, commercial and legal.
• You’ll be strategic yet hands on and simply love solving problems!
