Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant (TA)

Salary: £86 – £100 per day (Depending on experience)

This role provides a fantastic opportunity for enthusiastic individuals with a passion for education to support pupils in their learning and development.About the Role:As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you’ll work alongside dedicated teaching staff to support pupils across Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2. You will play a key role in helping children access the curriculum, stay engaged in their learning, and grow both academically and socially in a safe, nurturing environment.Key Responsibilities:

• Assist class teachers with planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.
• Provide targeted support to pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to raise attainment.
• Help manage classroom behaviour, encouraging a positive learning atmosphere.
• Support children with varying needs, including those with SEND or EAL.
• Prepare learning resources and contribute to displays and classroom organisation.
• Monitor pupil progress and report observations to teaching staff.
• Supervise pupils during break and lunch times when required.
• Encourage pupil independence, confidence, and participation in school life.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a school or educational setting is desirable.
• A strong interest in working with children in a primary school environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptability, patience, and a proactive approach to challenges.
• A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• A relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning is desirable but not essential.
• Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
