In support of our existing team, we are currently looking for: Medical Advisor (m/f/d) Melanoma, Head & NeckYour Responsibilities and Primary Activities:

  • Act as a valued co-strategist on cross-functional country teams, collaborating with Marketing, Market Access, Policy, and other relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Build trust with the external scientific community through peer-to-peer exchanges of medical and scientific information with leading experts in therapeutic and patient care advancements.
  • Translate global medical goals and strategies into actionable research, data analysis, scientific communication, medical education, and other solutions.
  • Consolidate actionable medical insights from the country to inform company strategies.
  • Develop and execute the Medical Affairs Plan within the country, while quickly adapting it to evolving business needs.
  • Propose local data generation study concepts and ensure the timely execution, analysis, and publication of these studies.
  • Communicate scientific and business needs credibly and effectively across various internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Provide therapeutic and functional training to assigned teams and affiliate functions.
  • Develop and execute country-specific medical education programs and symposia.
  • Lead input meetings with country groups to inform company strategy.
  • Establish and execute applicable Pre-License Patient Access (PLPA) programs.
  • Collaborate and lead resolution of Regulatory, Reputational (i.e., Public Relations), Compliance and other Asset issues management.
  • Provide prompt medical information support, including research and responses to medical inquiries, as well as review and approval of local documents.

What we are looking for:

  • MD, PhD in a life science or Pharmacist degree is required; recognized expertise in Oncology and Medical Affairs through 2-3 years is required.
  • Strategic thinking, specifically related to asset value proposition, and clinical and value evidence.
  • Developing a network of scientific leaders and successful interactions with other key stakeholders (public groups, government officials, medical professional organizations) in therapy areas.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate information at country management level, with public groups and to scientific leaders.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, communication (written as well as oral) and results oriented project management skills.
  • Strong prioritization skills and ability to understand how decisions fit into the broader context of corporate strategies.
  • Strong, confident, and engaging presentations skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a matrixed environment.

The minimum annual salary for this position is EUR 67.600,- and varies according to the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
