Our client is a is a well-established electrical and mechanical engineering subcontractor, with a strong foundation built on years of industry expertise. They hold an extensive portfolio and order book managing major projects across the UK. They specialise in designing and installing building services nationwide, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality and safe solutions across education, residential, aviation, leisure, and commercial developments.The ProjectAs a highly experienced Mechanical Site Manager, you will play a key role on a new build industrial development located in Northampton with an M&E value in excess of £12m. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the seamless integration of mechanical systems, while strictly adhering to project specifications and industry regulations. You will oversee resource management, tackle on-site challenges, and enforce rigorous quality control measures, ensuring the project progresses on schedule, stays within budget, and meets the highest standards of excellence.RequirementsFor this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;
- SMSTS
- CSCS / JIB / ECS
- First Aid (Desirable not essential)
It is also essential that you hold the experience below;
- Demonstrated industry expertise with a proven history of successfully managing mechanical packages in excess of £5m on new build and refurbishment projects.
- Extensive industry background with over 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Site Manager or a similar role, working for a leading contractor or subcontractor.
- Experience working on projects within the industrial sector is advantageous however all candidates with a portfolio of managing mechanical packages on medium-large scale developments are of interest

- Thorough understanding of mechanical systems such as HVAC, piping, and plumbing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a thorough meticulous eye for detail
Expected salary
£300 – 350 per day
