Mechanical EngineerBasildon£30,000 – £40,000 per year + Training, Development, ProgressionAre you a Mechanical Design Engineer with a passion for industrial manufacturing?This well-established engineering design manufacturer is looking for continued mechanical design support for a range of industrial systems and equipment. You’ll join part of a team of engineers working on similar activities where your ideas can be bounced around.The company is a leader in machinery manufacturing supporting high-volume production for a range of industries. They work closely with clients to meet their demands and produce high-quality equipment through design, manufacture, test and service. Due to continued success, they are looking to expand the team.The role will involve mechanical activities and the design of industrial machinery products using relevant 2D/3D CAD software, support documentation, maintaining existing drawings and working with mechanical technicians for parts. You will need a good understanding of engineering techniques such as machining, fabrication and sheet metal drafting to BS 8888 standards.This is a great opportunity to join a machinery manufacturer providing industry-leading equipment and providing growth to others.The Role:

• Mechanical Engineer

• Design and develop mechanical aspects of new and existing products.

• Create detailed technical documentation.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers to bring concepts to market.

Candidate Requirements:

• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Creo, SolidWorks, Autodesk).

• Knowledge of Manufacturing, Industrial Equipment and Design

• Interpret equipment assembly drawings working to BS 8888
