Primary Function:

Demonstrate application of Quality policies and procedures, projects, and systems used for developing Abbott Nutrition product labels.
-
The labeling specialist will liaise with various departments to ensure label compliance for new product innovation and revisions to existing labels for products manufactured by all Abbott owned and contracted facilities marketed within the Asia Commercial Region.
Core Job Responsibilities:

Liaise with Project Management group for labeling project activities. Work with Project Managers to understand and meet the expected timelines for label development and ultimately product launches.

Serves as primary contact within the working team (Global Labeling Operations, Desktop Publishers, Affiliates, Division/Area Regulatory, Marketing, Nutrition Science, Medical Affairs, Plant and Project Management Group) for planning, startup, and execution of the label development activities through the label review system.

Responsible for the creation of appropriate projects within the label review system, to promote label projects from review to approval phase, accuracy and compliance to current process and procedure, and timely label completion.

Evaluates proposed labeling changes and implements the changes, reviews label development good documentation practice and develops the product label as prioritized by the appointed steering committee or project management group.

Serves as the primary contact for external customers such translation agencies and print suppliers.

Facilitates collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders at Area and country Affiliate levels to ensure timely label completion deliverables.

Provide guidance as product labeling subject matter expert and to provide training as applicable for the label review system.

Key player in process improvement projects for overall process optimization and alignment. Ensure that project scope is clearly established, and timelines are set within reasonable expectations to meet project deliverables.

Works independently and with minimal supervision. Provides the necessary support to team members to foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Responsibilities:
-
Bachelors Degree in Food Science, Life Sciences, Nutrition, or any other related disciplines

Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance/regulatory affairs or other relevant positions preferred. Prior experience/understanding of labeling process/artwork management process would be an advantage.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-function teams and external vendors.

Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to shifting priorities.

Experienced with project management, including ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet project deliverables.

Dynamic team player with initiative, drive, and an aptitude for problem-solving.
-
Prior experience with Excel VBA, PowerBI or related data analytics tools to provide data-driven insights and recommendation for process improvement would be added advantage.
