JOB ALERT – Junior IT EngineerContract | Hybrid (On-site) | South West LondonI’m working with a local authority in South West London that’s looking for a Junior IT Engineer to support device builds, deployments, and day-to-day IT support across a busy public sector environment.Must have experience working within Local Government.📍 Must have experience:
- Previous experience working in a Local Goverment
- Building and configuring laptops, phones, and desktop PCs
- Distributing and managing end-user devices
- Providing first-line IT support and troubleshooting hardware issues
- Collaborating with internal teams to support IT operations
- Maintaining basic records, asset logs, or IT documentation
📍Essentials:
- Hands-on, proactive approach to IT support
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and support needs
- Awareness of IT hygiene, data handling, and device security
