We are seeking a dynamic IT Network Manager to oversee the network infrastructure for our client. This role includes designing, implementing, and maintaining network systems to ensure efficiency and security, as well as managing a team of IT professionals and leading network projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in network administration, problem-solving skills, and effective team management.Key Responsibilities:– Network Design & Implementation:
– Develop and maintain network solutions, including routers, switches, and firewalls, to support school operations.-Network Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
– Monitor network performance and resolve issues quickly to minimize disruptions.
– Implement redundancy and failover systems for network continuity.– Security Management:
– Develop and enforce network security policies, conduct audits, and maintain firewalls and VPNs.– Team Management:
– Lead and mentor a team of network administrators, providing training and performance reviews.– Documentation & Reporting:
– Maintain network documentation and generate reports on performance and security.
– Communicate updates to senior management.– Vendor & Budget Management:
– Manage vendor relationships and evaluate network products.
– Develop and oversee the network budget.– Project Management:
– Plan and manage network-related projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.Qualifications:
– Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
– 2-3 years of network administration experience, with proven team management skills.
– Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, CompTIA Network+) preferred.Skills:
– Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and security practices.
– Strong analytical and communication skills.
– Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Technical Expertise:
– Familiarity with Windows 10/11, Server 2019/2022, Hyper-V.
– Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, Azure, and Google Workspace.
