The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high cleanliness and hygiene standards in industrial environments, ensuring safety and compliance with health regulations. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and experience in industrial cleaning practices.Key Responsibilities:
- Perform deep cleaning and sanitation tasks in industrial and manufacturing facilities.
- Operate and maintain industrial cleaning equipment such as scrubber dryers, pressure washers, and floor buffers.
- Handle hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal following safety procedures.
- Ensure all work areas, machinery, and equipment are cleaned to high standards.
- Follow strict health & safety regulations, including COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health).
- Work within a team to complete scheduled cleaning tasks efficiently.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the supervisor.
- Maintain accurate cleaning records and adhere to company procedures.
Requirements & Skills:
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning or a similar role is essential.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, materials, and equipment.
- Familiarity with Health & Safety regulations, including COSHH.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends if required.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- A valid manual handling and safety training certification is desirable but not essential.
