Recruit4Staff are proud to represent their client, an internationally renowned construction & civil engineering company in their search for a Health and Safety Advisor to work on their contract in New Cross, LondonFor the successful Health and Safety Advisor our client is offering:

• Salary: Negotiable Day Rate (Depending on skillset and experience)
• Days role, Monday to Friday 7 am – 5 pm
• Temporary contract role until the end of December 2024
• Immediate start for the right candidate
• Allocated site parking

The Role – Health and Safety Advisor:

• Working with Project teams to ensure the highest standards of health & safety are met on Project sites
• Provide appropriate information, support, assurance and challenge to Project teams
• Assist with the development of content for HSE Training and awareness programmes.
• Assist with the implementation of the Construction behavioural based safety programme
• Working with scaffolding, at heights and ensuring the safety of staff across site

What our client is looking for in a Health & Safety Advisor

• NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate – ESSENTIAL
• IOSH Certificate – BENEFICIAL
• Previous on-site H&S experience in Civil Engineering/Construction – ESSENTIAL
• Must possess previous construction project experience – ESSENTIAL
• An excellent understanding of Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality Risk Management, legislation and industry standards
