Recruit4Staff are proud to represent their client, an internationally renowned construction & civil engineering company in their search for a Health and Safety Advisor to work on their contract in New Cross, LondonFor the successful Health and Safety Advisor our client is offering:
- Salary: Negotiable Day Rate (Depending on skillset and experience)
- Days role, Monday to Friday 7 am – 5 pm
- Temporary contract role until the end of December 2024
- Immediate start for the right candidate
- Allocated site parking
The Role – Health and Safety Advisor:
- Working with Project teams to ensure the highest standards of health & safety are met on Project sites
- Provide appropriate information, support, assurance and challenge to Project teams
- Assist with the development of content for HSE Training and awareness programmes.
- Assist with the implementation of the Construction behavioural based safety programme
- Working with scaffolding, at heights and ensuring the safety of staff across site
What our client is looking for in a Health & Safety Advisor
- NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate – ESSENTIAL
- IOSH Certificate – BENEFICIAL
- Previous on-site H&S experience in Civil Engineering/Construction – ESSENTIAL
- Must possess previous construction project experience – ESSENTIAL
- An excellent understanding of Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality Risk Management, legislation and industry standards
