As the Head of Software Development, you will work closely with the Engineers to set strategy, provide guidance and leadership, ensuring the delivery of the software development roadmap. It’s a challenging role, focused on building strong relationships in order to lead, inspire, and develop the people you manage. You will oversee a small team of software developers, helping to define and deliver exciting new projects, ensuring best practise.The Company

What’s required of the Head of Software Development?We’re looking for a Head of Software Development from a technical background, ideally with knowledge of working with Python. Overall, we’re looking for:

• Previous experience overseeing the management of a small team of software developers
• Experience working in an environment with various methodologies such as Agile, Scrum and Waterfall
• Experience with a variety of software development tools and technologies such as, Python, Java, React, Azure DevOps, iOS etc.
• Any knowledge of data engineering would really set your application apart!
