Head of Manufacturing / Manufacturing Manager / Operations Manager required to join a leading global mechanical engineering manufacturer.Head of Manufacturing / Manufacturing Manager / Operations Manager will lead a team of 30 + people and be responsible for manufacturing, warehousing, production, logistics, and maintenance operations, reporting directly to the Group Operations Director.The Head of Manufacturing / Manufacturing Manager / Operations Manager will have a proven track record of successfully managing large teams to achieve operational excellence, ideally within a multi-site mechanical manufacturing environment.Package

• Lead a team of 30 + people and be responsible for manufacturing, warehousing, production, logistics, and maintenance operations, reporting directly to the Group Operations Director.
• Ensure that all onsite manufacturing and warehousing operations perform effectively and harness continual growth.
• You will drive strategic growth by leading manufacturing expansion projects, implement best practices and collaborate as part of the senior operations management team.
• Deliver all daily, weekly, monthly and annually manufacturing SPQDC KPI’s
• Liaise with various Engineering departments
• Office based near Leeds.

Head of Manufacturing / Manufacturing Manager / Operations Manager Requirements

• Proven track record of successfully managing large teams to achieve operational excellence, ideally within a multi-site mechanical manufacturing environment.
• Experience as a head of manufacturing, manufacturing manager, operations manager, head of operations, operations lead, manufacturing director, or similar preferably within a mechanical engineering manufacturing environment.
• Will be able to showcase clear examples of managing multi-site warehousing & supply chains within an engineering environment.
• Highly experienced at specifying and deploying Warehouse Management Systems.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire a large team.
• A technical engineering qualification – ONC, HNC, HND or Degree in mechanical engineering or similar is advantageous, though not a must.
