  • Designing and execution of new plants (Green- and Brownfield projects), extrusion lines, injection moulding lines, roto-moulding lines, handmade departments, automations etc. incl. the preparation of layouts, technical specification, cost estimations and budgets (based on quotations of all individual machines, buildings, etc.).
  • Leading the layout process for Piping-plants if changes and/or optimisations are required, e.g. with regards to lean, health & safety, logistic standards etc.
  • Support as technical assessor during M&A projects and preparing future possibilities of such projects in terms of production and logistic layout
  • Defining, aligning & implementing standards for production equipment (all piping technologies incl. line installations), infrastructure (cooling water, material feeding, compressed air, etc.) and buildings within Piping Operations & Technology
  • Compiling building specification and construction work standards for all Piping plants; Acting as a gate keeper in terms of CAD layouts, defining a standard of storing layouts and equipment drawings and leading the factory layout digitalization by performing 3d-scans of piping-plants.
  • Defining, aligning & implementing project management standards and project portfolio management standards throughout the Piping Operations
  • Defining & aligning the portfolio of technical/operations projects throughout Piping Operations & Technology; managing of complex projects and acting as a project manager or project team member (incl. Gantt-chart, project set-up, cost tracking, contracting, tendering, etc.)
  • Leading all production automation initiatives, managing the respective projects and – together with local and corporate purchasing
  • Leading a team of Engineering (Project) Managers
  • Being an active part of the CTO team, further developing processes & structures within the team and at the interfaces to the corporate & piping organization

Your Profile

  • Senior leader with extensive production experience (i.e. plastics production, automation)
  • Deep understanding of operational excellence, i.e. lean
  • Academic and work experience background in the producing industry
  • Very good engineering knowledge how to design and optimize production lines
  • High problem-solving skills
  • Good project and people management skills
  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written
  • H&S expertise is a benefit
