As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service.

• Develop and implement innovative menus that align with current culinary trends and customer preferences
• Lead and inspire a team of skilled culinary professionals, fostering a positive and productive kitchen environment
• Manage kitchen operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and food cost management
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
• Collaborate with the management team to achieve financial targets and improve overall kitchen performance
• Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control across all meal services
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure the best quality ingredients at competitive prices
• Participate in menu tastings, special events, and customer feedback sessions to continuously improve our culinary offerings
• Stay abreast of industry trends and implement new techniques and technologies to enhance kitchen efficiency and food quality

Qualifications

• Culinary degree or diploma from a recognised institution
• Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar senior culinary role within high-volume food service operations
• Advanced knowledge of various cuisines and culinary techniques
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities
• Proficiency in menu planning, recipe development, and food cost control
• In-depth understanding of health and safety regulations, including food hygiene and allergen management
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and profit management
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Up-to-date food hygiene and safety certifications
• Passion for culinary innovation and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences
