Job description

We are looking for motivated health care support workers to join our team and support the registered nurses. You will be delivering high quality care to babies, children, young people and their families within the children’s outpatient setting and development centre. It is a busy department supporting multiple specialities and allied health care professionals. We also have a well established phlebotomy clinic.You will have experience of working in a hospital environment or have worked with children within another setting.We are a friendly forward thinking unit providing a high standard of care to our patients.Shifts are 9 hours. 0800-1730 Monday to Friday.Main duties of the job

  • Welcoming children and families to the department
  • Weighing and measuring children
  • Communicating well with the multi-disciplinary team and families involved in their child’s care
  • Chaperoning clinical procedures
  • Opportunities for paediatric phlebotomy training.
