As a Global Sea Logistics Yield + Allocation Expert at Kuehne+Nagel’s Suntec office in Singapore, you’ll develop strategies to balance supply and demand, negotiate with carriers for optimal rates, analyze market trends to enhance profitability, and collaborate with various teams to ensure smooth logistics operations. This role is pivotal in optimizing the global sea freight network, making it both challenging and rewarding.

Your Role

You will be responsible for managing daily allocation matters between the organisation and carriers to maximize volume and profit. You will be involved in managing and resolving escalations internally and externally to ensure we deliver the best possible service and deliver commitments to both customers and carriers. You will also perform all day-to-day allocation topics, cargo routing and yield optimization including enhancement of the current trade allocation infrastructure to ensure an optimal usage of our available space and to ensure the best possible yield is being achieved by completing the following main responsibilities.

Your Responsibilities

• To manage any block space agreementsbetween carriers and our offices for all relevant trades.

• To provide steering instructions toensure that agreements are fulfilled to avoid any penalties.

• To closely cooperate and communicate withall stake holders to ensure compliance with the terms of any block spaceagreements.

• To produce a standardized process acrossall relevant trades for the handing of block space agreements.

• To maintain and build strongrelationships with concerned offices and our core carriers.

• To manage allocations per carrier / perstring / per load port and/or per destination / per NAC.

• To resolve daily operational problems andassist counterparts in solving problems with local agents and carriers .

• To determine best possible shippingoptions for FAK and fixed options and to leverage market volatility toincrease yield.

• To factor in and pre-plan space to bere-allocated in the event of void sailings .

• To submit monthly a report of liftingsversus target

Your Skills and Experiences

• Fresh graduates with a good attitude is welcomed

• Analytical mindset, comfortable with numbers and good in Excel

• Able to work well as a team

• Good learning agility and willingness to learn
