Job description

General Manager – North WalshamContract Personnel are looking for an experienced General Manager for an award-winning facilities management company based in North Walsham.How does the day-to-day look?

• Supervising and participating in the cleaning of floors, communal areas, stairwells, washrooms, and other spaces
• Managing staff rotas, holiday requests, site audits, and assisting with the recruitment of new team members
• Identifying and delivering on-site training, while maintaining accurate records
• Assisting with investigations related to personal accidents or potential disciplinary matters
• Managing on-site cleaning supplies, maintaining stock levels, and placing orders in line with site budgets

You will have:

• The right to work in the UK
• Previous experience as a Manager or Supervisor within cleaning or a related field (highly desirable)
• Confidence and proficiency in managing rotas, staffing, training, and maintaining basic HR compliance
• Excellent customer service skills
• A full UK driving licence
• Strong computer literacy and confidence using internal systems and software
• The ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and demonstrate flexibility with working hours and days
