- Lead the establishment of control definitions and diagnostics based on system specifications
- Plan & realize the engineering activities to develop & integrate/validate Controls in the Fuel Cell System
- Ensure PO New Energies Fuel Cell Control System components meet systems requirements.
- Participate in the initial technical definition of system product lines for RFQs and multi-OEM development programs.
- Launch new product lines for Fuel Cell System in accordance with the innovation roadmap Proof of Concept (POC) methodology.
- Lead the benchmark of potential supplier & screening of Control System technology for vehicle applications.
Competencies & Requirements:
- Bachelor, Master, PhD or similar from a University, University of Applied Science or other Technical College in IT, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Controls & Diagnostics, Electronics & Electrical, Physics, or equivalent professional experience
- 3 years of experience in the automotive industry as a function developer or software developer with strong understanding of automotive standards, particularly ISO26262
- proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and Vector or ETAS tools.
- Fluent in English
- Responsible & efficient working
- High level of initiative & team spirit
Previous Experience
- Control engineer in automotive industry.
- Control engineer for fuel-cell system.
- Control engineer for diagnosis in automotive industry.
- Application engineer in automotive industry
Key technical competencies
- Knowledge of fuel cells, electrolyzes, hydrogen technology is a bonus
- Knowledge in control laws, electronic control units &/or On-board diagnostics development
- Knowledge of actuators & sensors technologies
- Knowledge in control algorithm or function development (e.g. MATLAB/Simulink, C is a bonus)
- Knowledge in modeling & simulation (e.g. Amesim, GT-Suite)
- Knowledge of measurement & calibration techniques & tools such as VECTOR, INCA
- Knowledge in Automotive and/or Heavy Machinery Development Processes e.g. A-Spice, CMMI
- Knowledge of High Voltage safety
- Knowledge of Functional Safety (ISO26262) & Risk Analysis (e.g. FMEA, FTA)
- Knowledge of Problem-solving Techniques (e.g. PDCA, Shainin, DMAIC)
- Knowledge of System & Requirement Engineering tools (e.g. Polarion, DOORS) is a bonus
